Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Park and marching bands……

It’s very easy to forget how wonderful a city London is when we run from meeting to meeting or get wrapped up in the daily grind.

Going to a recent meeting with a long standing client at Grade I listed 55 Broadway, London’s first official sky scraper, I had the opportunity to be a tourist for a few minutes and enjoy some of the reasons that millions flock to London each year……and the weather wasn’t one of them on this day!

An unpleasant rain dodging walk through lower Regent Street, dropping down into The Mall as a group of horse mounted soldiers trotted past in unison in one direction, followed by a marching, musical bearskin capped band going in the opposite direction . Getting wet was quickly forgotten as I became a tourist with the UK’s most exclusive piece of real estate well in view.

If only all meetings started this way…..

The meeting also ended on a positive note with instructions received to sell a handsome investment property in King’s Cross….details to follow!
