Another building is sold in King’s Cross!

Ashurst Real Estate is delighted to announce the completion of the sale of Stobbs House, 8 St Chad’s Place in King’s Cross to a European construction company that wanted to purchase its own London Headquarters.

St Chad’s Place is pedestrian footpath bordered by quaint cobbled streets, housing an eclectic mix of mainly refurbished Victorian warehouse style buildings.

Outside of “new King’s Cross”, behind the station, this little area is proving to be a very popular destination for occupiers wanting to be in the area. This is our fourth completed transaction in this pocket since the start of the year.

Although Stobbs House was originally offered as an investment with a 2 year tenancy remaining, the transaction quickly morphed into a sale with vacant possession and at a price close to the £3,750,000 asking price.

Ashurst Real Estate represented the vendor whilst the overseas purchaser was represented by old pal, Steve Hickey of OffiCity.

Ashurst Real Estate is currently marketing another freehold, although this time in Bloomsbury.
